what are the benefits of mentoring?

Increase your self-confidence, sector knowledge and communication skills. Become better informed through growing your networks and gaining more exposure to new and different perspectives. You’ll increase your capacity to self-reflect, setting goals, building skills and learning from other’s experiences. Being supported by your allocated mentor you’ll learn to ask the right questions, build your experience and improve your chance of job satisfaction, potential promotion and career development. 

here’s how it works:

The NSG mentoring programme will be created with the support of the Adecco Group, matching mentors with mentees and overseeing the 6-month programme. We’ll catch up through quarterly calls to both mentors and mentees to see how they’re progressing.

when will the mentoring start?

Please note: The first round of the programme is now closed. The next mentoring programme will launch in the summer 2025 starting with an online webinar that will present the outcomes of round one and explain the mentoring programme in detail.

To apply for the next mentoring programme please complete either the mentor or mentee application forms (above) and we will review your application and match you with the right industry colleague to ensure the right partnerships are formed. Once everyone is matched, the programme will commence (anticipated start date for the next programme is September 2025).

* Whilst we aim to match every mentor with the appropriate mentee, there will be occasions where this is not possible due to numbers. If unsuccessful this time, the applicant will be matched for the next programme in 6 months time.
